Job description
As a line cook at Spoon Restaurants, you will be a part of an international team. You will be working in one of three golf club restaurants owned and operated by Spoon Oy and situated within 15 to 40 minutes of Helsinki. All our golf clubs are among the top 10 golf clubs in Finland. We offer and serve our customers with a wide variety of food and drink, starting with breakfast and cafeteria products, lunch, and casual dining all the way to occasional fine dining experiences. You will have an experienced team of Chefs and restaurants managers to help you and train you. This is an amazing opportunity to develop your skill set! The owners of Spoon have a very active role in our employee business of around 60 people, and are there for you all the time.
What you'll do:
You will be working in a fast-paced environment serving our customers with simple, yet delicious food made from fresh ingredients. Our food philosophy is that when making great food you only need a few quality ingredients, treat them with respect and you will succeed!
Your job details will entail, but not be limited to the following: lunch buffet foods, salad stations, Á la Carte, baking, BBQ, and preparation of foods for the service.
We want you to be excited about the food and service because we sure are! You'll always prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard.
What you bring:
Culinary degree (or at least 4 years of experience in the kitchen)
Experience in the kitchen for at least 2 years.
The most important aspect is to have a "Can do" attitude and a positive outlook, we'll be able to help you with the rest!
